Usually I'm not too pleased with the RV parks in the Vancouver area, but to my surprise, I found this quiet park to be great! There are very interesting sculptures around the park and the park itself is clean and gorgeous to look at. Not to mention the husband and wife who run the grounds were very nice to us. This is a great place to stay and I would recommend Alderbrook RV Park to anyone.
The pool has been filled in and made into a garden.
In the winter it is very hard to drive around park as there is no snow removal.
The owners son has taken over and if you complain about anything you will be promptly evicted
I lived in this park for 1 year an in that time i saw it go from one of the most friendly an wonderful places to be in to a dump. When the owner fell sick his son took over an put Wendy Gugic in charge. This women is the definition of "Layhee" for those of you who don't know this reference he is a drunken power hungry trailer park supervisor. She has just kicked out my grandparents after being there for over 20 years they had many dear friends in the park whom all were threatened with eviction if they tried to say good bye to them. then there is her husband who as been caught going into the womens bathrooms while in use with out knocking they have stolen from other people in the park as well. They lock the bathrooms at 9pm every night which is illegal to do in a park of such as this. So if i may request you to boycott this park for the way they treat there residents would be extremely appreciated.
I have been informed again of the misuse of power and verbal abuse by the management of the Aldergrove RV Park. To use your power in this way to ruin people’s lives is unacceptable. To evict residents because of your drunkenness and power trips is against the law and unethical. The management will be reported to the Better Business Bureau and the Rent Control Board. Seniors in this park should be guaranteed to have a safe and friendly environment. Mr. Lee and his son need to be informed that if they continue to keep the current management they will find themselves with a company reputation that is ruined and soon out of business. I would highly recommend to everyone not to use this park until there has been a change in management or you yourself will find a confrontation with the current management.
My parent have been the latest 'victims' of the drunken management of this RV park.After 20 yrs of being some of the most popular residences they too were evicted for no reason other than the fact that the manager Wendy was on another one of her drunken binges. This happening on thanksgiving and only given 48 hours to leave. I am absolutely discussed at the way my parents and other residences of this park have been throw out for no other reason than the fact that the management has once again had a few to many drinks and gone on yet another one of her power trips. The management has even evicted long time seniors and again given no reason and seems to take some sick twisted pleasures in trying to ruin peoples lives. I don't wish this to happen to any other families and I too will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau and contacting the media
I lived in this park for 4 months and found it to be run like a prisoner of war camp. The managers Wendy & Mike are scavengers and nosy bodies. Always lurking in the dark,pissed as a nuke. Mike has taken it upon himself to watch when the ladies use the showers and invites himself in pretending to fix something. Which by the way can't fix a darn thing as he doesn't know the difference between his ass and a hole in the ground. They are both liars and thives. If you stay here you had better keep you things under lock and key or the scavengers will be on it like white on rice. If you dare complain about the management to the owners son Roger you will be booted out faster than you can shake a stick. The park itself is very nice but as long as Roger keeps Wendy & Mike not only as managers but allows them to remain in the park the business will suffer dearly. If you want to live in "ouchvitzs" or in a "prisoner of war camp" then by all means have at her and enjoy your stay.
If you do stay here, ask if they have new management otherwise don't bother you will regret it. The managers Wendy and Mike are bullies, and go after the frail and elderly.
I understand that the previous managers are no longer employed here and were given a thirty day notice to move(which is more than they allowed anyone else!).I've already seen a change for the better...people are no longer hiding in fear and are now visiting/talking/chatting, etc. like normal people do!It really is a beautiful park;got a little sidetracked there for a while but that's over now.Happy RVing.Come and check it out:)
I was a tenant also. After I left, I came back to visit friends in the park. I was summarily told to leave as I was not welcome, as my friends were troublemakers, therefore, I must Withbe also. My son came to visit also, on a motorbike, and was chased off. never got to the office to read the rules of the campground re: motorbikes in the park. One of my biggest concern,s was the treatment by our R,C.M.P. who stood on the side of the GESTAPO. With good management, this is a very nice park and well maintained by senior Mr. Kim
These 2 ex park managers are lucky to be breathing. Their reign of drunken terror on respectable seniors was as ugly as their booze saturated faces. Unfortunately they were trusted with a high position and the alcoholic pill poppers wigged out. Often dirty clothed and unshowered, they tried to smell their way to the top of their own poo pile, both perverts even took poodle love too far.
One thing guaranteed in life besides death & taxes is change.Hooray to clean bathrooms and laundry rooms and the welcome signs of spaces being "reserved" again.Despite that nasty "speed bump" in the road I have faith that things will be looking up from here.It really is a nice park!
We were here for a 2 days and decided to stay for a week more...don't know what how bad the park used to be but WE didn't have any problems!!what we did notice were nice and clean bathrooms esp for an rv park!we'l be back that's for sure!
THis Park has changed management and we stayed there for two weeks. The new managers are great people. Everything was super clean and well looked after. Large laundry facility. Aesthetically pleasing landscaping and tall hedges between sites gives lots of privacy. We did not notice highway noice. Someone has gone to a great deal of time and effort to beautify this Park. You'll love it. We did.
There has been a feud between the full time residents and the management. Unfortunately most if not all of the comments here are as a result of this infighting. As a new visitor, I find this park to be above average for Vancouver parks. All sites are paved, free internet, free cable, free power and water. Previous management is gone and new manager in place.
After looking at all of these reviews we decided that we'd take a look for ourselves since we were headed through this way anyways...I must admit that all the bad reviews made me pretty curious we thought we'd see some unpleasant things or people at least.Turns out that its really a beautiful park with fresh coats of paint throughout.The people here are really nice and the staff is most accommodating,whatever the owner is doing appears to be good cause I haven't found any thing wrong.I'd come and stay for a visit again thats for sure. the rental company adised us to another rv park but we decided to stay at this park instead. we are glad we did its clean and very nice looks like they are painting everything and looks very nice,we only stayed one day but will be sure to arrive here instead again everyone is very nice and helpful. we will return here for sure.
We are looking at making a trip to Vancouver next month and would to find a place where we can park our prevost bus for the winter so that we can go again at Christmas and Easter. What kind of fees do you pay monthly? for 6 months or maybe even a year?

NEW MANAGEMENT....Means nothing here. Clean park yes but all the ammenities are locked up early at night. Lots of local gangs so theres midnight thieves Be very careful to lock up your belongings and watch for drug deliveries coming into the park at all hrs. Your better off somewhere else.
most of the people here are working class like I am. I never had any problems with the park manager or the tenants.Park is super clean and is easier to deal with than other parks.Rent includes hydro, cable and wifi theres nothing extra-no hidden costs.Its a high class place in a casual atmosfere and I feel grateful that was allowed into it. thanks.
