I Love that Brownsville Pub

At first my hubbie and I motored out to the Brownsville Pub & RV PArk to check out the full-time RV camping facilties and had a cold one in the PUB after meeting and speaking at length with the RV PArk Manager Arlen Anderson, a genuinely friendly knowledgable fellow. We found a different RV Park closer to hubbie work area but last weekend and the one before I had to have a night out with live rock and blues for my soul. The Brownsville also has a terrific jukebox and I am a self-confessed jukebox junky unlike any other. I have been known to go into a place and sing along with the jukebox, at the top of my lungs which makes me feel undescribably good. It is one of the ways I have of unwinding and I can take or leave the beer and other alcohol but when it's hot out you gotta have refreshments or one becomes dehydrated. I like cold ice water with a few twists of lime and that's good for the vocal chords as well. The more you drink the worse the singing gets and some people seem to think that drugs and alcohol give them courage but it just aint so it just makes you feel different than you normally would if not indulging. This is sort of like overeating, you eat to compensate for the lack of other pleasures in your life or out of loneliness. Your body merely needs good proper nutrition in moderate quantities which keeps one from being extremely overweight. I know I need to exercise more but find this so difficult due to a life-long back injury from a collision. I wish singing would make me lose weight but I am all right and when I set my mind to something, I will accomplish it althought the road is often rocky and sometimes life is so tough, isn't it? Love isn't always a bed of roses either but what would we do without our other halves who are supposed to be our positive supporters but soemtimes aren't, the trick is to know when it is YOU that have to be the positive understanding strong one and see through the sarcasm, insults and negativitism. These are things which are larned from being an experienced lover and I am not just talking anbout the physical thing which of course is important. How did I get on this subject?? It's all about passion and mine is for music and singing as well as the other important things in my life. We must learn to do what we love and do it well.....to make ourselves happy and if it pleases someone else when you write and sing with a band and the audience approves and benefits from your efforts. If I were to just please myself, life would really suck without other people in it. I am just one of those ladies that has to do something nice for someone else and then I am happy. I did not forget how to be good to me because like veryone else, I am the only one that is good to me. Some people find it so hard to shwo their love and keep it all inside instead of letting it out and letting it go to the one they say they love. release the passion and let it flwo like a mountain stream that's what life's all about. Life is way too short to have no fun at all. We gotta work to live not live to work. I am trying to get in touch with Sherry the lady who hires the bands at Brownsville Pub and have already spoken to her on the telephone. My cell phone is now out of minutes. I need to sepak with Clifton who sang and layed last weekend July Friday the 10th with the band "No Control" and the previous weekend it was Ernie with "Stoneface." Some of Stoneface were at the last weekend gig as well.....i noticed improvements as obviously they had been practicing expecially Clifton.his vocals improved considerably. Like anything it takes practice until you get it right. If whoever read this website entry reds it could please get in touc with Sherry from paula, i spoke with her about this the other day and have received no response from Clifton or Ernie. It is urgent that I speak with them both as i wish to tell them about a big rock thing that is happening called the LEAGUE OF ROCK THAT I HAVE JOINED AND IT will be of benefit to them to contact me as soon as possible at this email address. TODAY IS WEDNESDAY JULY 15 AND WE HAVE LESS THAN A WEEK TO GET READY FOR THIS THING AND I URENTLY NEED THEM TO CONTACT ME...CELL PHONE IS KAPUT DEAD AND CAN NOT AFFORED MINUTES FOR IT....THEY WILL REMEMBER ME AS I SANG ALONG WITH MOST OF THE TUNES THEY DID.....I AM PAULA MB DURRANT AND THE EMAIL IS AS FOLLOWS:
