1. unsanitary. serious sewage problems, some said it was leaking into the lake and got sick.
2. management. rude. unfriendly. harassing.
3. campers in Tahoe lite, along fence have 20 something yr old son, who likes to take things from other campers (ie: coolers).
4. too expensive for what you get. will try to double bill you if you are not careful.
5. "long time" campers at this campground seem to be treated the worst.
6. my first and last time stay at Cabana Campground. Will report this to my office at Travel BC, perhaps even the health board.

Unclean, harassing & rude management

Don't come here unless you like to live in human sewage. Left some campers sick. Management is rude, unfriendly, will try to double bill you if you are not careful. Noticed that campers in Tahoe lite, along fence have son (Matt), who likes to party hard and has foul mouth. Mentioned this to mgmt and they did nothing.

Seriously, don't come to the Cabana Beach Campground in Osoyoos! Fair Warning.

Lovely, clean, clean, quiet family campground

My family has been returning to this same campground for over 50 years. Yes, you read that right -- 50 years. Over the past 5 years, my children and I have been staying in a tent site for nearly a month each trip. It is clean, quiet and like a second home to us. I do not personally know the owners except to book my trip each year but any complaints we may have had were quickly addressed. The owners and staff have always been friendly, kind and considerate - as are most of the people who camp there.

Cabana shelters (for tents) provide light, running cold water and an optional full-sized fridge. There are also small cabins and RV sites if that's your idea of roughing it. :)

The washroom facilities are cleaned frequently and offer pay showers. I like the laundry facilities, small store and new Internet access ... camping sure has changed over the years! :)

My only complaint is that I can't stay there longer each year.

best camping in Osoyoos!

I have been visiting Cabana Beach for 20 yrs, it's awesome family camping - clean, fun stuff for kids to do, huge sandy beach right next to the lake, fully stocked store including kids toys, really nice owners. I was surprised to find a negative review as above - these people were obviously ignorant or were behaving badly while staying here. I have NEVER seen sewage here, the washroom are fine..

GREAT TIME

MY FAMILY WAS AT THE CABANA BEACH CAMPGROUND LAST SUMMER. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WE HAD EVER BEEN TO OSOYOOS. WE LOVED THE AREA. THE PEOPLE IN THE CAMPGROUND WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THE BEACH WAS GREAT!! THE OWNERS WERE VERY APPROACHABLE. THEY SEEMED TO BE INTERACTING WITH ALL CAMPERS. IT WAS A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY. WE HOPE TO GO BACK OVER AND OVER AGAIN. OUR KIDS HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. WE WILL GLADLY BE PASSING ON GREAT REVIEWS OF THIS FAMILY ORIENTED VACATION SPOT.
