Brought our youth group up for a weekend retreat. The staff was rude, uninterested in being there, and did not act appropriately. At one of the meals, there was an issue with the camp staff throwing food at our kids. When we arrived, a couple of the cabins had garbage and excessive dirt of the floors. The activities themselves were alright, however the kids didn't feel safe in either the rock climbing or high ropes courses. The camp staff were letting the kids drop rapidly, only to suddenly stop and suspend them in the air. It made the experience unpleasant for a lot of the kids, and many of the boys did not want to participate because of this. On the rock wall, many of the kids ended up with scrapes on their legs because not enough tension was kept in the rope to prevent them from falling rapidly. Camp Jubilee needs to focus more on SAFETY. We had a camp fire & instead of giving us means of putting the fire out properly, we were told to "just leave it". I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMP.
