Broken promise
Our family stayed at this Motel in May. We have been staying in Valemount every year almost for the last 20 years.
The owner was on holidays so he had a relative taking care of the place. We were very pleased with the outstanding service of the gentleman and we informed him we would be back in August for a week. He assured us we would get the same rate for our week stay as what we paid. I asked him are you sure, oh yes.
Low and behold, we tried to book for August this week but the lady on the phone did not want anything to do with whatever was promised previously and was going to charge us about 40% more than what the deal was.
Unfortunately we had to change now our stay at this place and look somewhere else.
I would have recommended this motel before but not now after people don't keep their promise and word
