best campground
We love this campground.Stayed 4 days by the river-beautiful spot-nicest we've ever had.Quiet,well run,well maintained,friendly, clean,well stocked store,dry firewood. Will come back again and again.

Description of Coquihalla Campsite: Campground/RV Park - Family campground along the banks of the Coquihalla River right in Hope. Treed park setting, riverfront sites. Some double sites, flush toilets, free sani-station for overnight campers, coin hot showers, fire pits, pull-throughs, mini-store, video games room, 24 hr. security, laundry facilities, covered barbeque area, pets accepted, seniors discount 10%, reservations accepted.

Beware the Google Map!
The Google Map was shown when I came to this site, shows the campground on7th Ave - in the middle of a residential area - and is clearly *wrong*. Pull the map South. You will see a regular bridge, then a railway bridge, then a second bridge. This campsite is beside (south) of the *second* bridge.
I used to camp here as a kid (early 70's), and I gotta tell ya, I was shocked at how built-up things have become. It used to be that anything beyond the bridge was almost wilderness. Now you can see houses right across the river. :(
That said, it is still a beautiful location, and the river is still clean and powerful. Might just come back some time to camp (we drove by a few months ago). :) -
