Description of Harrison Springs Camping & Rv Park: Beautiful gated new campground. First on left upon entering the Welcome sign. Fully serviced 30 & 50 amps for any size motorhome, trailer or 5th wheel. Large grassy, natural treed sites. 24-hr washrooms, drinkable water, ice, firepits.
This was the worst place i have ever stayed in my entire life. They over price, never were in the office for any assistance what so ever (during their peak season), and they forced myself and my friends to drive intoxicated in the middle of the night because of a misunderstanding. If you stay there, prepare to pay over $200 for 3 nights in a tent, don't drink on the site or you'll be forced to pack up in the pitch dark and drive drunk with no where to stay :)
The place is so-so in terms of space and utilities, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. The owner is obviously new at running a business and engages in very shady business practices intending to squeeze every penny they can get out of you. She quotes different prices to different people. She says whatever she needs to say to convince you to buy her over-priced services including offering a lower price. Do not believe ANY discouted price that you’re quoted because she will twist her wording and still demand full price in the end. Better yet, avoid this place altogether. She also makes you pay in cash or else you will be changed a fee for using a credit card ($10)!! That sort of action is not permitted by Visa/Mastercard (see Mastercard merchant rules – ‘5.9.2 Charges to Cardholders’) but it’s just another way for her to fudge her books and gouge as much as possible from her customers. Avoid this place at all costs!
