re: Hidden Valley Campground
I would be really careful when making a booking at this place. I made a booking to stay for two days and had to cancel because my husband burned his foot and had to be rushed to ER with 3rd degree burn. I called and explained this to the owner and she refused to refund me my money. She informed me it was their policy. We did not plan o have an emergency these things just happen.
We cancelled our booking because we had to get home as soon as possible. We decided to go through Kelowna rather than go through the Shuswap. Every other camprgound we cancelled refunded us all of our money in light of the situation excepting Hidden Valley. One campground in Kelowna even allowed us to shift our booking down a day without charge. Hidden Valley Campground may be a great place to stay but I will never book with them again. Just make sure if you ever book there you never have an emergency and have to cancel. I guess it's just all about the money for some people.
