worst camping experience ever

We just got home after 5 hours in the truck leaving this nightmare. By far the rudest , most belligerent lady i have ever dealt with. My wife and myself booked a site a week prior(bit of history, we are avid campers and have been doing so for years with no complaints anywhere till now) upon arrival, after a 2 and a half hour drive with our 7 year old daughter and dog we drove in prepared to set up only to find another camper in our site. So down we went to the office to clear up the matter.There we met the lady we spoke to on the phone who told us we never called and she never spoke to us.After a few minutes of her telling us no , no , no we never made this reservation, we told her we would just call visa and make sure nothing was charged to our card. Within seconds she found our reservation for the site. Then she scribbled out the site number on the top and wrote in a different site on the opposite end of the campground which our tent wouldn't even fit in. Finally she refunded our money for our deposit and left us without a campsite on a long weekend and a bad taste in our mouths for a 2 and a half hour drive home. Plus the website does not show how terribly small the campground and sites are. Unless you have a one man tent and a lot of patience do not camp here.

Very costly !!

The spots are very hard to get the trailer in & out.You have to PAY daily to use the pool & waterslides and/or just sit & watch the kids in the pool. Waterslides & Pool - Adult $15 Child $13 Pool only - $5 Just to watch - $5 (really !)
We are avid campers & have never had to pay for pool usage before. It should be free if you camp there. The water was very cold as they only use solar heat. Also there is no cable.

worst ever

Very small spots even for 2. Expencive. Service poor ( no soups in the washrooms.....) They will charge you for everything. Very unrisonable management. Do not be surprised if what you booked is not available and you are left with a choice to drive back or take whatever is left. Will not be back!

Awful

So our neighbors and us found that for both of us running nothing but our a/c, the 30 amp breakers would repeatedly trip. When we dared to inquire about getting this fixed, we were told that it was our fault and if we didn't like it, we could leave.
These sites were not well thought out for rv's and trailers, the only ones large enough to accommodate large vehicles require backing up about a 100 yards.
The waterslides are fairly lame, and the fees for them and the pool are ridiculous. Five dollars just to watch your kid in the pool when you have to pay $13 already so they can swim. We won't be back.
