Description of Shady Rest RV Park: Located 1 km/1 mi east of Houston off Yellowhead Highway 16, the park provides grassed and shaded sites, pull throughs, full hookups, 15 and 30 amp service. There are also tent sites. Facilties include flush toilets, free hot showers, pay phone, laundry and sani-station. Pets are permitted on leash.
We stayed there in late June and found the service and price rate for full hook up amazing..We will make it a pitt stop on our journeys in the future when ever heading west . I would recommend to anyone , even for a short vacation where they offer recreation , camping and friendly go beyond service.. Great place for kids , secure and safe from trafic and hazards .
