this was the first and last time we will stay at this campground. The playground is very run down. Our daughter needed to be rushed to the emergency room to get 10 stiches in her leg. The Dr said she was very luck and could have very easily bled to death if her wound was slightly deeper. The campground needs to update there playground instead of patch jobs. The Eco Lodge in Golden is much nicer, I will be recommending it to all my friends, along with why they should not be staying at the Whispring Spruce.

Description of Whispering Spruce Campground: Whispering Spruce Campground will be open from April 15, 2002 to October 15, 2002. During this time we will be taking reservations or you can simply drop in to enjoy the beauty of Golden, BC. Whether you are out camping with family or simply enjoying the out doors by yourself, we provide a relaxing atmosphere with an occasional visit from the wild life. Come and visit one of the most beautiful parts of Canada, we promise you will return home with unforgettable memories. Along with several campsites, we also offer a fully furnished cabin to be rented. The cabin contains a kitchen, 1 living room, 1 bedroom with 2 beds and a bathroom. To rent the cabin on a daily or weekly bases, please call for reservations.
